We are recruiting a full-time childcare lawyer to join our team in Chelmsford. 

We will provide a positive and supportive working environment.

You will: 

  • Be responsible for running your own caseload to include:
    • Public Law children cases
    • Private Law children cases
  • Have experience of advocacy and a desire to expand those skills.
  • Have excellent client care skills.
  • Be IT proficient.
  • Be able to work well under pressure and manage your own caseload efficiently.

Membership of the Law Society Children Law Accreditation Scheme would be advantageous.

Salary and benefits commensurate with experience.

  • Be responsible for running your own caseload to include:
    • Drafting Wills, Codicils, Trusts, LPAs, Deeds of Variation and advising on all related tax issues
    • Advising on tax efficient Estate planning
    • Administration of Estates
    • Court of Protection work
  • Have excellent client care skills.
  • Be IT proficient.
  • Be able to work well under pressure and manage your own caseload efficiently.
  • Ability and willingness to actively market and expand the department.
  • Prospects of heading a department in due course

Membership of STEP would be advantageous.
